Jennifer and William's Rose Wedding Invite Set

Jennifer and William's colors were watermelon and lime green, so it was perfect that they wanted roses too. The rose and vine art had that vintage vibe to it and the gorgeous font was the perfect touch to add that fancy wow factor. So lovely!

60th Birthday Invitation

My aunt had me design these for my uncle's surprise 60th birthday party. He loves Pirates of the Caribbean so that's why I decided to go with the whole vintage pirate ship theme. It was fun designing a more masculine look for once. My vintage ship prop also worked nicely :)

Map Save the Dates

I was very excited to design my first wedding piece... for my fiance Josh and me! Josh and I are getting married next June 30th in Galloway, NJ, followed by the reception in a cute little historic town called Smithville.

This save-the-date is a little different than my other designs. I thought a map would be cute and yet more helpful to our guests. Josh and I grew up in the same town, so I had to include that landmark. We love the outdoors and fantasy films (like Willow), and are little kids at heart, so I think we are depicted well in our save-the-dates.

And yes. I did cut about 125 cards by hand! It took a lot of patience, but I think was well worth it in the end! I found the adorable little business card-sized envelopes and HAD to use them lol.

Pantone Color of 2012!

The pantone color of 2012 is...Tangerine Tango! "A spirited reddish orange, continues to provide the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward." ~Pantone.com

This would be a great color for a spring or summer wedding :).

Corporate Holiday Card

This is a holiday card I designed for heath consulting company WorkCare. They wanted to send a nice greeting card to their clients, so we decided to include a handful of sayings. The metallic card stock gave the snowflakes that twinkle, and the gems added that extra sparkle and "wow" factor. I loved giving my design 3D dimension.

Jaime & Zack's Chartreuse Flower Set

Laura & Doug's wedding invitation seems to be a popular hit! I've had several people (from the US and even the UK) contact me regarding this design. In fact, Jaime from Arizona found it online and knew she wanted this same look for her wedding invitations. I was excited to make the invite a set, with a matching reply card.

Here's what Jaime had to say:
"I love it; it is more beautiful than I thought it would be. It exceeded my expectations of your amazing work! I am so excited for everyone to see them. I love all the added details and time you put into them. Thanks so much!"

Star Wars Halloween Birthday Party

It's Halloween time, so I had to post this Star Wars birthday party invitation I made for my cousin last year. It was fun switching gears from wedding designs to children designs. I had fun researching Star Wars fonts, images and terminology!

"Great job on the invites Krista — got sooooo many compliments!"

Ashley's Luau Bridal Shower

My BFF Mary had me design this fun modern-retro invite for a luau themed bridal shower she was throwing for her friend Ashley, along with the other bridesmaids. Ashley's wedding is in the fall, therefore her colors are autumn colors, so my challenge was to make a summer invite still have that autumn quality. I think I was able to achieve that by using a lot of orange and brown, as well as a subtle blue and green.

I love all the movement going on with all of the different shapes. And of course I had to add a bit of floral nature-- what better to use than a hibiscus! It just happened to work out perfectly that my neighbor had this matching flower bush, which I just had to use as a prop!

Will you be my bridesmaid?

I wanted to design cards for my bridesmaids to ask them to be in the wedding using a vintage, nature look to match the wedding theme.

Will you be my flower girl?

Sooo I am getting married next June :) and thought it would be cute and memorable to ask my bridesmaids and flower girl to be in the wedding through customized cards. I made this for my adorable niece Keira. I wanted to personalize it by putting her name in the flower design at the bottom, and even added leaves to her font.
